About the role#
CBIZ is hiring a Tax Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Greenfield, Massachusetts. You will work on client assignments across various industries, including real estate, construction, manufacturing, and nonprofits.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning multiple audit assignments.
- Apply accounting and auditing principles, quality control standards, and technology procedures to client work.
- Participate in engagements from the beginning through completion.
- Identify and discuss audit issues, technical matters, and process improvements with senior associates, managers, and partners.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client staff to support their goals and needs.
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct and client confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Experience in student organizations or prior work in accounting is a plus.
