About the role#
CBIZ is hiring a Tax Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. You will support our consulting teams by working on client assignments across various industries, including real estate, construction, manufacturing, and nonprofits.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning multiple client assignments.
- Apply your knowledge of accounting and auditing principles to specific client projects.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of client engagements.
- Identify and communicate technical issues or improvement opportunities to senior staff and managers.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client staff to support service goals.
- Maintain high standards for professional conduct and client confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. A Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to multi-task and solve problems independently.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Participation in student organizations or prior work experience in accounting is a plus.
