About the role#
CBIZ is hiring an Audit Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Morristown, New Jersey. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration who want to gain practical experience in professional services.
What you'll do#
You will support our teams by completing various aspects of accounting, tax, and audit engagements for our clients. You will apply your knowledge of accounting and auditing principles to specific assignments. Your daily work includes managing tasks within engagement budgets, working toward charge hour goals, and handling administrative duties. You will also participate in early practice development activities, such as engaging with professional organizations.
What you'll need#
We require candidates to be working toward a Bachelor's degree. You should have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. We look for people who can multi-task, solve problems independently, and manage projects effectively. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internal software is expected. While not required, we prefer candidates pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation, those who are CPA eligible, and those with prior internship experience.
