About the role#
Cerity Partners is hiring a Tax Intern for the Spring 2027 term in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a paid, part-time position running from January 2027 through April 2027. You will work 20 to 30 hours per week in an on-site environment. This role offers the chance to gain professional experience at a registered investment advisory firm while managing your own projects with autonomy.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Create workpapers that document the preparation process for various projects.
- Research and analyze tax issues.
- Handle other duties as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Active participation in campus organizations, ideally in a leadership role.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
