About the role#
Cerity Partners is seeking a Tax Intern for the Spring 2027 season. This paid internship provides college students with hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will work 25 to 30 hours per week from January through mid-April. The role is designed to complement your formal education with practical, career-related tasks on our tax team.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Create workpapers in Engagement Manager and SurePrep to document project preparation.
- Maintain accurate workflow statuses using FirmFlow and GoFileRoom.
- Research and analyze various tax issues.
- Complete other duties as requested by Tax Advisors and Tax Administrators.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Consistent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Active participation in campus organizations or prior professional work experience is preferred.

- This position is based on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- This is a part-time, paid internship.
