About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Duluth, Georgia. You will gain hands-on experience in public accounting, working alongside professionals at all levels. The role provides exposure to client projects and includes training programs to help you build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including return drafts, quarterly estimates, and extension preparations.
- Research and stay current with federal and state tax regulations.
- Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support client engagements across various industries.
- Develop accounting software skills through instructor-led courses and on-the-job training.
- Work toward your CPA certification with support from the firm through prep materials and classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- A plan to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028.
