About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at various levels to gain insight into the field. You will participate in interactive programming and training sessions to build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns for clients, including return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, and extension preparation.
- Research changes in tax regulations and develop tax planning skills at federal and state levels.
- Support client engagements as an individual contributor and as part of a team across various industries.
- Communicate regularly with team members through meetings, chat, and email.
- Develop technical skills in accounting software through instructor-led courses and on the job training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Preference is given to candidates planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure between December 2028 and August 2029.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Dallas, Texas.
- The internship is on-site.
