About the role#
This is a paid, full-time tax internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Duluth, Georgia, starting January 4, 2027. This role provides hands-on experience in public accounting, giving you exposure similar to our associate-level hires. You will work alongside professionals at all levels to gain insight into client engagements across various industries.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, and extension prep.
- Research and stay current on federal and state tax regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on client projects through meetings, chat, and email.
- Develop technical skills in accounting software through instructor-led courses and on-the-job training.
- Work toward your CPA certification with support from the firm.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Preference is given to candidates planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure between December 2027 and August 2028.
