About the role#
This Winter 2028 Tax Internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at all levels and gain exposure to the same tasks as our associate-level hires. You will participate in training programs to build your skills and professional network while working on client projects.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals, including drafting returns, quarterly estimates, and projections.
- Research current tax regulations and build your tax planning knowledge at federal and state levels.
- Support client engagements as an individual contributor and as a team member across various industries.
- Communicate regularly with your team through meetings, chat, and email.
- Develop technical skills in accounting software through instructor-led courses and on-the-job training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an accounting emphasis.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Preference is given to candidates planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure between December 2028 and August 2029.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Dallas, Texas.
- The internship is a full-time, paid role starting January 3, 2028.
