About the role#
As a Digital Manufacturing Intern, you will join our team to support software solutions for our manufacturing initiatives and shop floor modernization. You will work with senior engineers and plant operations to deliver software enhancements for our Manufacturing Execution Systems, build analytics dashboards, and manage data flows across our systems.
What you'll do#
- Develop and test new application features, components, and bug fixes using C# and .NET.
- Create, edit, and optimize Power BI reports and data models to improve visibility and support data-driven decisions.
- Partner with manufacturing end-users to refine functional requirements, support user acceptance testing, and configure digital screens on the shop floor.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to manipulate, validate, and retrieve data from relational database systems.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and follow quality coding standards and code review practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated coursework or project experience in an object-oriented programming language.
- A fundamental understanding of relational databases and hands-on experience writing SQL queries.
- Strong technical curiosity and the ability to learn new business domains and digital manufacturing tools.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
