About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will serve as a customer service ambassador for our residents. You will work to reach full occupancy by managing renewals and leasing available units. This role is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours of work per week. You will be expected to live on-site in a designated unit as assigned by the Community Manager.
What you'll do#
- Handle front desk administrative tasks and answer leasing inquiries.
- Greet prospective clients and guide them through the leasing process, from initial tour to closing the sale.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate file documentation.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing and Cardinal U training programs.
- Keep the tour path clean and welcoming for visitors.
- Help plan and execute community events.
- Stay informed on market trends by shopping the competition.
- Take part in on-call responsibilities, including lock-outs and property rounds.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours and a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Completion of at least one year of college studies.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property, including interior and exterior spaces.
- Current or future status as a leaseholder at the community.

- Compensation: Hourly rate with bonus eligibility.
