About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will focus on maintaining property occupancy through resident retention and leasing activities. This role requires a commitment to customer service and collaboration with the on-site team. You will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and will reside on the community property.
What you'll do#
- Act as an ambassador for customer service to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Manage administrative front desk tasks and complete all lease applications and file paperwork.
- Maintain accurate lease file documentation according to company policy.
- Participate in and assist with the planning of community events.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude when interacting with residents, prospective clients, and team members.
- Perform additional community projects and on-call duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university, with a minimum of 6 credit hours completed.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Preference for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Real Estate.
