About the role#
As a Resident Coordination Intern, you will support our leasing team to maintain occupancy and provide high-quality service to our residents. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks, sales, and community engagement. You will act as a representative of the property, ensuring that prospective and current residents have a positive experience.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and answer leasing calls.
- Determine client needs and present apartment homes using feature and benefit selling.
- Manage lease applications and maintain accurate file documentation.
- Complete Cardinal Way of Leasing certification and pass third-party leasing shops.
- Assist with community events and various property projects.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path.
- Perform on-call duties, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
- Stay current on market trends by shopping the competition.
- Participate in required company training programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and live on the designated floor.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
