About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support our team in maintaining community occupancy and delivering service to our residents. This is a part-time, on-site role that requires you to live on the community property. You will balance your academic responsibilities while working approximately 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Act as a customer service ambassador for residents and prospective clients.
- Handle front desk administrative tasks.
- Manage the leasing process, including answering calls, greeting visitors, conducting tours, and closing sales.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate file documentation.
- Participate in company training programs, including the Cardinal Way of Leasing.
- Help plan and host community events.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path.
- Assist with on-call duties, such as lockouts and nightly rounds.
- Work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder at the community.
- Ability to live on the designated community floor.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property in various weather conditions.
