About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will serve as a key point of contact for current and prospective residents. This role focuses on maintaining high occupancy levels through effective leasing, resident retention, and daily community operations. You will work on-site in a part-time capacity, typically for 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Handle administrative front desk duties and support daily office operations.
- Greet prospective clients and manage incoming leasing inquiries.
- Assist with lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Ensure the tour path remains clean and presentable to provide a positive first impression.
- Help plan and execute community events for residents.
- Participate in required company training programs.
- Assist with additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college studies.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and access all areas of the property.
- A valid driver license.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or Communications are preferred.
