Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the community team in maintaining high occupancy levels through resident retention and leasing efforts. This is a paid, part-time, on-site role that requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Interns are expected to live on-site in an assigned unit and participate in annual re-application processes.

What you'll do#

• Deliver high-quality customer service to residents and prospective clients.
• Warmly greet prospective clients, answer leasing calls, and conduct apartment tours.
• Complete lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation according to company policy.
• Participate in the planning and execution of community events.
• Assist with administrative front desk tasks and various community projects as assigned.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive community presentation.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university (Business Administration, Real Estate, or Marketing preferred).
• Completion of at least one year of college with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and physically access all areas of the property.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

• Compensation: Paid position with bonus eligibility.
