About the role#
This internship is part of the Cardiac Diagnostics team. You will work on mobile health solutions and remote monitoring services for patients with cardiac arrhythmias. The team focuses on creating monitoring technologies to improve health outcomes and reduce care costs.
What you'll do#
- Participate in data science, signal processing, data mining, and machine learning projects.
- Research and assess technologies for biological signal analysis and system optimization.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and create visualizations for clinical data sets.
- Work with software engineering and other data scientists to test algorithms.
- Contribute to technical discussions and maintain knowledge in relevant areas.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelors or graduate degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, physics, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or biomedical engineering.
- Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Proficiency in Python, data structures, algorithms, and modern computer engineering techniques.
- Understanding of statistical data analysis techniques.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Reliable transportation to the Arden Hills, MN office.

- Location: Arden Hills, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site (at least four days per week).
- Commitment: Must be available for one of two periods: May 17th to August 6th OR May 24th to August 13th.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
