About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Data Scientist Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in our Tempe, Arizona office. You will work on a part-time basis to support our internal and client-facing digital projects. This is a paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Develop and improve data analytics, reporting, and visualization solutions.
- Collect, validate, and integrate data from various project controls, cost, and operational systems.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
- Assist with the testing and deployment of digital solutions for project management and operational reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve workflows.
- Support AI initiatives by assisting with data preparation, testing, and prompt development.
- Perform quality assurance tasks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Work alongside technical managers, developers, and project teams to implement client solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or Python is preferred.
- Previous internship or project experience related to data analytics, business intelligence, or software development is a plus.

- Compensation: $25 to $31 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
