About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring an Estimator/Scheduler Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in Denver, Colorado, and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by supporting project teams, clients, and contractors on various engineering initiatives.
What you'll do#
You will assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics. Your daily work involves performing quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and financial tracking. You will help produce Master Schedules, review contractor submissions, and manage change documentation. Additionally, you will maintain project databases, validate information, and prepare reports to support project communication.
What you'll need#
Applicants must have completed at least 60 hours toward a degree in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management. Basic computer skills for data entry into spreadsheets and databases are required. Prior internship experience in the construction industry is preferred.
