About the role#
We are looking for an Architecture Intern to join our Alexandria, Virginia office for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position that requires on-site attendance. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside our project teams and participating in our intern development initiative.
What you'll do#
- Support project phases ranging from schematic design through construction administration.
- Assist in creating graphics for reports and presentations.
- Update construction documents by incorporating redline markups using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Conduct research to help with design decisions and the selection of finish materials.
- Assist with construction administration tasks, such as organizing project documents, filing, and reviewing submittals.
- Visit project sites to assess existing facilities and support new development.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 20 hours toward an architecture degree from an accredited program by the start of the internship.
- Basic computer skills for data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
- Proficiency in Revit modeling, clash detection, and Rhino is highly desirable.
