About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring for a summer 2027 internship within the Transmission, Distribution, and Renewable Energy division. You will work on engineering projects related to electrical networks, including substations, power lines, and control systems. This is a full-time, paid position based in Montreal.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the design and development of electrical network infrastructure, such as substations and power lines.
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical drawings and plans.
- Develop material lists and coordinate with various engineering disciplines.
- Assist in the design and implementation of protection, control, and automation systems for energy networks.
- Prepare control and protection schematics and produce technical documentation.
- Attend technical meetings and support interdisciplinary project coordination.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a DEC or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- You possess strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- You can solve technical problems in a creative and efficient manner.
- You have an excellent command of the French language.
