About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Digital Delivery/BIM Intern for Summer 2027. You will work within our Digital Delivery team to support engineering and architectural projects across transportation, aviation, and infrastructure sectors. You will collaborate with BIM managers, engineers, and data specialists to assist with model development, coordination, and project analytics.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain BIM models using Revit, Civil 3D, and OpenRoads Designer.
- Support multidisciplinary model coordination and perform clash detection.
- Participate in federated model reviews and track project issues.
- Create Power BI dashboards to assist with project reporting and model analytics.
- Perform model quality assurance and validation reviews.
- Support 4D schedule simulation and 5D quantity takeoff initiatives.
- Assist with digital coordination meetings and prepare related reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, or Building Information Modeling.
- Some exposure to CAD or BIM software.
- A strong interest in automation, visualization, and Power BI.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in one of our offices: Orlando, FL; Houston, TX; Alexandria, VA; or Atlanta, GA.
