About the role#
Z Modular is seeking a Program Development Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will report to the Lead Program Development Manager and gain experience in enterprise project management, process improvement, data analysis, and technology integration. This role involves working with cross-functional teams on large-scale real estate development initiatives. You will support strategic projects through project coordination, data management, and reporting activities.
What you'll do#
- Track and update project schedules, timelines, milestones, and portfolio activities.
- Collect and maintain project documentation, such as meeting notes, status reports, and risk logs.
- Participate in project meetings, document key discussion points, and follow up on action items.
- Develop and maintain project dashboards, portfolio reports, and tracking tools.
- Gather, validate, and organize project, operational, and performance data.
- Conduct basic analysis of project timelines, resource allocation, and key performance indicators.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and visual updates for leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to document business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Research industry best practices for project management and process optimization.
- Update standard operating procedures, process documentation, and process libraries.
- Support the evaluation and deployment of project management and analytics tools.
- Participate in user testing, document system requirements, and create training materials.
- Draft communications, meeting summaries, and stakeholder updates.
- Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in project management, process improvement, business operations, or data analytics.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to project management tools like Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Asana is a plus.
- Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
- Experience with process mapping tools is a plus.
