About the role#
Zekelman Industries is looking for a creative Social Media Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. This on-site role is based in Chandler, Arizona. The program runs from May 24, 2027, through August 13, 2027. You will gain hands-on experience creating content that showcases our multifamily communities, resident experiences, and amenities. You will work alongside our marketing team and property managers to support leasing and brand awareness initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Travel to Zekelman Property Management communities to capture photo and video content.
- Create content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reels, and Stories.
- Coordinate with property managers and leasing teams to plan site visits.
- Follow content calendars, brand guidelines, and shot lists.
- Capture and edit short-form video content.
- Highlight resident lifestyle, community features, and new developments.
- Operate cameras, tripods, gimbals, and other equipment.
- Edit assets using Canva, Adobe Premiere, or CapCut.
- Research social media trends and digital marketing practices.
- Organize content libraries and track administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Experience creating photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube.
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere.
- A strong eye for photography, videography, and composition.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel between properties.
- An interest in real estate, multifamily housing, or lifestyle marketing is a plus.
