About the role#
This is a full-time summer internship for students interested in data analytics within the construction and aggregates industry. You will work on-site in Tell City, Indiana, from May 2027 through August 2027. This role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to professional tasks while working alongside experienced teams.
What you'll do#
- Build analytics reports using the SIGMA platform.
- Perform data validation to source systems.
- Track trends, including quantities, costs, and progress curves.
- Participate in daily standup calls and weekly T-5 safety discussions.
- Assist with document control, equipment management, and material tracking.
- Support various IT initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA or MSHA safety regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for construction management, engineering, information technology, business, geology, or concrete management.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and Fit for Work physical.
- Ability to provide valid I-9 documentation.
- Proficiency with computers and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team, maintain a professional attitude, and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Flexibility to travel or relocate for the work term.
