About the role#
The Student Worker - Assistant to the Provost provides administrative support to the provost office. You will serve as a teaching assistant for a class taught by a member of the provost office and assist with university events like graduation. This role acts as a primary point of contact for the academic wing, welcoming visitors and helping maintain the office environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet and host visitors to the academic wing.
- Respond to inquiries from faculty, staff, students, and guests.
- Assist with administrative tasks and office infrastructure maintenance.
- Serve as a teaching assistant in designated courses.
- Maintain confidentiality of student grades and academic progress in accordance with FERPA.
- Communicate regularly with the provost office.
- Input your time worked for compensation.
- Conduct yourself with integrity and professionalism.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Arizona Christian University in good standing.
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active Christian faith.
- Commitment to the ACU Statement of Faith and core values.
- Ability to support students, faculty, and staff from a biblical worldview.
- Completion of a FAFSA.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Availability to work up to fifteen hours per week.
