About the role#
This position supports athletic home games held at the Arizona Christian University campus and the Firestorm Recreation Center. You will work with the Game Operations team to ensure events run smoothly for fans, students, and staff. This role includes opportunities for mentorship and discipleship, as you will actively support the university mission from a biblical worldview.
What you'll do#
- Set up and tear down equipment for home athletic events.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of playing areas on gameday.
- Assist with event operations, including ticket scanning, ball running, and scoreboard operation.
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate event needs.
- Pray with and for students, faculty, and staff.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Game Operations Coordinator.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an ACU student in good standing.
- Completion of the FAFSA for consideration.
- An active Christian faith and a commitment to the University Statement of Faith and Core Commitments, which you will sign annually.
- Ability to support the university community from a biblical perspective.
- Punctuality, a strong work ethic, and effective communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of sports is helpful but not required.

- Location: Glendale, Arizona.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Part-time, 5 to 20 hours per week.
- Schedule: Based on the athletics calendar for both in-season and out-of-season events.
