About the role#
As a Student Worker for Event Technology, you will provide audiovisual support for university events under the supervision of the Event Technology Manager. This role involves active participation in the Christian mission of the university, including mentorship and discipleship. You will work closely with departments such as Athletics, Enrollment, and Student Development.
What you'll do#
- Set up, operate, and strike equipment for assigned events.
- Clean, organize, and maintain all audiovisual gear.
- Build and maintain working relationships across university departments.
- Perform other tasks and duties as directed.
- Pray with and for students, faculty, and staff.
- Support others from a biblical worldview perspective.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Arizona Christian University in good standing.
- Completion of the FAFSA.
- Expertise in digital and analogue audio systems.
- Proficiency in live video, video production, lighting, LED walls, and projection.
- Knowledge of staging and general production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders while carrying equipment, and stand for long periods.
- An active Christian faith and agreement to sign the University Statement of Faith and Core Commitments annually.
