About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the insurance industry. You will join the Internal Audit department to help assess the effectiveness of company processes and controls across various business segments. You will work alongside team members on Audit, Advisory, and SOX program projects while developing your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Support Audit and Advisory projects and SOX program efforts.
- Contribute to process automation, analytics, and Copilot projects.
- Update project plans and support audit testing.
- Summarize data sets to assist the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelors degree program for Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior status with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Basic exposure to data analytics and AI tools.
- Ability to work as a team player and manage multiple tasks independently.

- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Term: June 2, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.
- Compensation: $24 per hour.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
