About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on experience within the insurance industry. You will work alongside professionals to develop your skills and gain expertise in investment accounting. The program runs from June 2, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support reconciliations and review supporting documents from internal and third-party asset managers.
- Consolidate information for investment disclosures.
- Learn the finance and accounting systems used to complete daily tasks.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to evaluate risks and placement.
- Assist with special projects related to investment accounting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in White Plains, New York, requiring two days onsite and three days remote per week.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
