About the role#
The Internal Audit Summer Internship is an 8-week program running from May 31st to July 30th, 2027. This full-time, paid position offers hands-on experience in compliance and risk auditing. You will work directly with the Internal Audit team to address real business challenges while developing your professional skills.

- Participate in audit discussions with various business areas.
- Test existing controls and analyze their documentation.
- Collaborate with your team to deliver project results.
- Attend workshops and training sessions focused on professional development.
- Interact with company leaders through formal and informal networking events.
- Meet regularly with a mentor to discuss your progress and career goals.
What you'll need#
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program as of May 31st, 2027.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Accounting.
- Junior or senior standing for undergraduate students is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn quickly.

- This role is based on-site at our corporate office in Birmingham, Alabama.
- The internship term is Summer 2027.
