About the role#
Encova Insurance is hiring an Internal Audit Intern for our Columbus, Ohio office. This is a full-time summer internship for 2027. You will work 40 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule available. You will report to the Assistant Vice President of Internal Audit while receiving daily direction from our audit team.
What you'll do#
- Assist with performance, financial, compliance, and integrated audit projects.
- Learn to manage real-world situations by working alongside Encova associates.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and have completed at least 60 credit hours.
- Preference is given to students pursuing a degree in accounting. We will also consider students in business administration, finance, public administration, or related fields with an accounting minor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to think creatively.
- Personal initiative and a desire to learn.

- This position is based in Columbus, Ohio.
- The role is full-time for the summer of 2027.
- The pay is $18.00 per hour.
- We require interns to reside and work within specific U.S. states where we are registered for payroll.
