About the role#
AMERISAFE is hiring an Audit Intern to work in our DeRidder office. This paid role offers hands-on experience working directly with our audit department. You will shadow team members, learn daily processes, and contribute to routine tasks.
What you'll do#
- Observe daily tasks and take notes on requirements for each job shadow assignment, including audit processing and collections.
- Perform data entry, evaluation, and analysis of data for your assigned area.
- Apply what you learn to assist with routine job functions.
- Support the audit team with daily administrative duties.
What you'll need#
- You must be a high school senior or currently enrolled in college.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff at all levels.
- Accurate typing and data entry skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, with experience in Microsoft products preferred.
- Availability for the full duration of the internship.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in DeRidder, Louisiana.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with rolling start dates.
- Employment is subject to a pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug test.
