About the role#
This internship provides experience within the Internal Audit department. You will work under close supervision to support the department in providing independent assurance and consulting services. The role focuses on evaluating risk management and control processes to help the organization meet its objectives. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Erie, Pennsylvania, running during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist in conducting audit projects throughout the organization.
- Use business systems to communicate, perform analysis, document tests of controls, and complete audit assignments.
- Analyze data and report findings.
- Conduct research and gather information.
- Assist in creating presentations.
- Verify and enter data into systems and update electronic files.
- Perform functional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university pursuing a four-year degree or a master's degree.
- Completed at least your sophomore year if pursuing a four-year degree.
- Expected graduation date between spring 2027 and spring 2029.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- A working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent manual keying and data entry.
