About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain professional experience within the Experience and Customer Service departments at Erie Insurance Group. You will work on projects aligned with current business priorities while gaining a broader understanding of how these functions support the organization. The program includes mentorship, networking opportunities with senior leaders, and participation in developmental activities alongside other interns.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects and assignments that support business goals.
- Collaborate with leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization.
- Gather, organize, and analyze information to support business decisions.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assigned challenges.
- Develop recommendations, solutions, or project deliverables.
- Participate in meetings, job-shadowing, and developmental experiences.
- Communicate project progress, findings, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Verify and enter data into systems.
- Conduct research and assist in creating presentations.
- Perform special projects as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university.
- Completion of your sophomore year in a Bachelor's degree program.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2027.
- The role is on-site in Pennsylvania.
- Interns aligned with Customer Service will report to the Westport Office in Millcreek.
- Interns aligned with Experience will report to the Home Office Campus in Erie.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future immigration sponsorship.
