About the role#
The Intern II (Data) role at Erie Insurance Group provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in data and analytics within the insurance industry. You will work under supervision to support various departments by managing data, conducting research, and assisting with analytical projects. This position is part of the Future Focus Internship Program, which includes mentorship, networking opportunities with senior leadership, and professional development events.
What you'll do#
- Cleanse and prepare data for reporting and analytics.
- Create and maintain ad-hoc and recurring reports.
- Conduct research and gather information to support business needs.
- Analyze data and report findings related to company products and services.
- Verify and enter data into systems while maintaining electronic files.
- Create presentations and provide clerical or administrative support.
- Complete special projects as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a four-year or master's degree.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent manual keying and data entry tasks.

- Location: Erie, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site at the corporate office.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17 or May 24 through August 6, 2027).
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
