About the role#
Allen Lund Company is hiring a Junior Analyst Compliance Intern to support logistics risk management and carrier onboarding. You will work directly with the Carrier Compliance Manager to handle investigative checks and financial verifications that keep freight moving. This role provides hands-on experience in a corporate environment, focusing on the technology and processes that secure supply chains.
What you'll do#
- Use industry software such as Highway, Carrier411, SAFER, MOTUS, and our custom ALX system.
- Evaluate and verify new transportation carriers to add them to our national network.
- Review vehicle registrations, insurance certificates, FMCSA safety ratings, and authority compliance.
- Coordinate with branch offices, carrier partners, and internal teams to resolve questions.
- Support Carrier Compliance Analysts with high-priority projects.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Data Analytics, or Communications.
- Curiosity for solving problems and finding details.
- Digital literacy and comfort with software like Google Workspace, databases, and OCR tools.
- Professional communication skills for phone and email interactions.
- Ability to multitask in a collaborative office setting.

- Location: La Canada, California.
- Type: Full-time, temporary, on-site internship.
- Compensation: $18 per hour.
