About the role#
Allen Lund Company is hiring an intern for our Ogden office. This is a full-time, paid position that offers a look into the logistics and brokerage industry. We are looking for current university students who want to pursue a career in sales or brokerage after they graduate. This is an on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Manage live track-and-trace tracking for shipments.
- Assist with carrier compliance, onboarding, and network risk management.
- Help with carrier invoicing, rate audits, and billing workflows.
- Work on operational projects to support senior account managers.
- Ensure proper documentation reaches Carrier Resources.
- Contact insurance companies for certificates of insurance and update records.
- Call carriers to verify lanes, equipment types, and quantities.
- Answer phones, distribute calls, and handle general office duties.
- Support the accounting team and follow company principles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program, specifically in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- High energy and a clear communication style.
- A self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to teamwork.
- Confidence, organization, and a competitive drive.
- Strong customer service orientation and work ethic.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- High attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: Ogden, Utah.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility for university classes.
- Compensation: $13 to $15 per hour.
