About the role#
Allen Lund Company is hiring an Intern for our Middleton, Wisconsin office. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling start date. We offer training and development, with the potential for a full-time role after the internship for the right candidate. We do not provide sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with load tracking, tracing, and app compliance.
- Build loads, set up carriers, and schedule pickup and delivery appointments.
- Update customer systems and provide active load information for shippers and carriers.
- Contact insurance companies for certificates and update insurance records.
- Call carriers to inquire about lanes, equipment types, and quantities.
- Ensure proper documentation reaches Carrier Resources.
- Answer phones, distribute calls, and support the accounting team.
- Handle general office tasks while following company principles.
- Build confidence and skill in communicating with carriers, with the potential to book loads.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Junior in a Bachelor's degree program.
- Preferred majors include Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- A competitive, outgoing, and confident personality.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.

- Location: Middleton, Wisconsin.
- Pay: $16 per hour.
