About the role#
Allen Lund Company is hiring a Junior Analyst Compliance Intern to work on logistics risk management and carrier onboarding. This role reports to the Carrier Compliance Manager and provides experience in the investigative checks and financial verification that keep freight moving. You will gain hands-on experience with logistics technology and collaborate with corporate teams to solve daily operational problems.
What you'll do#
- Use industry platforms to manage logistics data and master modern software systems.
- Evaluate and verify new transportation carriers to add to the national network.
- Develop analytical skills by checking vehicle registrations, insurance certificates, FMCSA safety ratings, and authority compliance.
- Communicate with branch offices and carrier partners to resolve day-to-day questions.
- Assist Carrier Compliance Analysts with high-priority team initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program or recent graduation in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Data Science, or Communications.
- Strong digital literacy and comfort learning new software, including database platforms and OCR software.
- Great communication skills, including the ability to be professional and clear over the phone and via email.
- Ability to multitask in a collaborative office setting.
- A curious mindset and a desire to solve problems.
