About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world business environment. Over the 10-week summer program, you will work closely with a mentor to gain experience leading teams and understanding various functions within our distribution centers. You will be expected to report your accomplishments and learnings to the leadership team at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Gain understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines.
- Assist in the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes.
- Report findings to team members and management as required.
- Set and plan daily or weekly workloads to support business priorities.
- Manage projects and time without constant supervision.
- Organize and facilitate work team meetings such as pre-shift huddles and roundtables.
- Develop interpersonal and communication skills to lead a frontline workgroup.
- Foster an inclusive, diverse, safe, and secure culture.
- Carry out duties through internship rotations as trained.
- Build professional connections with hourly team members, peers, and senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Organizational Leadership, or Business Management.
- Expected to graduate with a bachelor’s degree within one year of internship completion.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.
- Proven leadership experience on or off campus.
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment and make quick decisions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective coaching, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Montclair, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Modality: On-site at our distribution center.
- Schedule: Must be flexible to work across all shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends to support 24/7 operations.
- Employment: Full-time and paid.
