About the role#
As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will gain hands-on experience within our Finance team. You will rotate across three customer account setup teams to learn end-to-end onboarding processes. This role is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while contributing to real business initiatives. You will work both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
What you'll do#
- Spend at least 50% of your time supporting the Credit team with credit reviews, UCC lien filings, and data analysis.
- Run and review credit reports and financial information to identify risks or missing data.
- Prepare findings or recommendations for team review.
- Assist with preparing, filing, tracking, and maintaining UCC lien documentation.
- Validate customer onboarding documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Enter, update, and maintain customer and account information in company systems.
- Use Excel to organize, reconcile, analyze, and summarize large data sets.
- Research and resolve routine data or documentation discrepancies.
- Prepare status updates, reports, and process documentation.
- Communicate professionally with internal partners and customers.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, data analytics, or a related field.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
- Coursework or experience in credit analysis, finance, accounting, business law, or data analysis.
- Experience reviewing business documents or working with customer or financial data.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications like Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Sound analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and follow procedures.
- Professional judgment when handling confidential customer and financial information.
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship running from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- The role is based in Carrollton, Texas, with a potential move to the Dallas office.
- This is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days per week in the office, with Tuesdays expected to be office-based.
