About the role#
As an Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a real-world, business-driven environment. This 10-week summer program is designed to develop future supply chain leaders by providing exposure to various functions within our distribution centers. You will work closely with a mentor, lead teams, and report on your accomplishments to the leadership team at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Gain an understanding of supply chain disciplines and business areas.
- Assist in the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and processes.
- Set and plan daily or weekly workloads to support business priorities.
- Organize and facilitate team meetings, such as pre-shift briefings and roundtables.
- Build relationships with hourly team members, peers, and senior leadership.
- Manage projects and your own time without constant supervision.
- Participate in training activities and developmental events.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and secure culture.
- Rotate through different departments as trained to carry out specific responsibilities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Organizational Leadership, or Business Management.
- Expected to graduate with a bachelor’s degree within one year of internship completion.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.
- Proven leadership experience in academic or extracurricular projects.
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment and make quick tradeoff decisions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work various schedules, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends to support 24/7 operations.
- Willingness to learn, take risks, and step out of your comfort zone.

- Location: Louisville, Kentucky (On-site at our distribution center).
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
