About the role#
Aecon is seeking a Co-op Assistant Coordinator for the Risk team to support major projects within the civil east division. This is a full-time, 8-month paid co-op opportunity for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team with project control activities, specifically focusing on risk management.
- Gather and disseminate risk-related data by collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Assist the Risk Director, Project Managers, and Project Controls Analysts with risk analysis, benchmarking, and documentation initiatives.
- Analyze historical project risk information while managing and maintaining risk registers.
- Present findings to the project team and provide benchmarking information to functional groups.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a university or technical college pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Understanding of project management, project controls, or cost engineering processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, including basic presentation capabilities.
- A proven track record of good performance and attendance.
- Bilingualism in French and/or Spanish is considered an asset.

- Pay range: $23 - $28 per hour.
