Procurement Co-op

About the role#

The Procurement Co-op position supports the CanAtom joint venture on the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project. This role provides assistance across procurement, materials, and facilities, working directly with the Project Procurement Director and Project Procurement Manager. This is a full-time, paid co-op opportunity for the Summer 2027 term.

What you'll do#

• Provide procurement support including accruals, purchase requisitions, shipment releases, and invoicing.
• Generate reports for procurement and engineering using various software programs.
• Develop and maintain Excel reports using data from multiple sources.
• Interface between procurement, engineering, quality, document control, execution, and project control teams.
• Organize internal and client meetings, develop meeting minutes, and track action items.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year degree program in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering (Energy, Power, Electrical, Electronics, I&C, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, or Nuclear).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Previous experience in procurement, business processes, or accounting is considered an asset.

• Location: Whitby, Ontario.
• Modality: On-site.
• Travel: Ability to travel between the Whitby office, Pickering office, and project site on occasion is required.
