About the role#
The Procurement Co-op position supports the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project. This role assists the Project Procurement Director and Project Procurement Manager with various procurement, materials, and facilities tasks. This is a full-time, paid co-op term for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide procurement support for accruals, purchase requisitions, shipment releases, and invoicing.
- Use software programs to generate reports for procurement and engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain Excel reports using various data sources.
- Organize meetings as required and document meeting minutes.
- Interface with procurement, engineering, quality, document control, execution, and project control teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering (Energy, Power, Electrical, Electronics, I&C, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, or Nuclear).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Previous experience in procurement, business processes, or accounting is considered an asset.
