Project Administrator, Co-op

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid Co-op position for the Fall 2026 term. Based in Scarborough, Ontario, this role supports the project team in a site-based capacity. You will gain hands-on experience in project administration within the construction and utilities sector.

What you'll do#

• Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies and procedures.
• Track and report attendance, board allowances, and vehicle allowances for site personnel.
• Assist with invoice processing, routing for approvals, and supporting project billing submissions.
• Establish accounts with local suppliers and coordinate materials.
• Prepare job packages, including permits, locates, and necessary project documentation.
• Assist with incident and accident reporting.
• Maintain organized filing systems, project records, and perform general data entry.
• Welcome and direct site visitors.
• Travel to project sites as required.

What you'll need#

• Currently working toward a degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a project environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• An interest in construction, utilities, or project coordination.
• Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
