About the role#
Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Project Administrator for a co-op position within the construction industry. This is a full-time, paid role based in Scarborough, Ontario, for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies and procedures.
- Track and report attendance, board allowances, and vehicle allowances for site personnel.
- Assist with invoice processing and routing for approvals.
- Establish accounts with local suppliers and coordinate materials.
- Support the preparation and submission of project billing.
- Prepare job packages, including permits, locates, and documentation.
- Assist with incident and accident reporting.
- Maintain organized filing systems, project records, and perform data entry.
- Welcome and direct site visitors.
- Travel to project sites as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program for Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a project environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest in construction, utilities, or project coordination.
- Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
