About the role#
Bird Construction is hiring a Student Operational and Proposal Coordinator for an 8-month co-op term starting in September 2026. This role is based in Vancouver, BC. You will manage your own area of responsibility while receiving guidance from a supervisor and a technical mentor.
What you'll do#
- Gather proposal information from various departments.
- Create and format proposal documents.
- Coordinate the review process and track stakeholder feedback.
- Conduct market research to support proposal content.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals on design-build teams.
- Participate in team meetings, take minutes, and contribute to project planning.
- Collect operational data, generate reports, and analyze performance metrics.
- Build dashboards and track key performance indicators.
- Support the development and implementation of learning activities and operational solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Business, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with market research.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to achieving goals.
