About the role#
This position is for an Investment Banking Analyst within the Metals & Mining team in Toronto. You will join the firm for the Winter 2027 term. The program includes a one-week training and orientation period, followed by direct work within the industry group. You will have access to mentorship, networking opportunities across business units, and learning seminars to build a foundation in investment banking skills.
What you'll do#
- Run valuation analyses and perform complex financial modeling.
- Conduct research on companies and the broader industry.
- Create client presentations and write internal or external marketing memoranda.
- Support client relationships and business development tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with a graduation date in Spring 2028.
- A strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in the Metals & Mining industry.
- Proficiency in analytical tasks, including business, financial, and credit analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.
- Preferred fields of study include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil).
