About the role#
This Investment Banking Analyst position offers an introduction to the financial services industry. You will join a team in Montreal for the Winter 2027 term. The program includes a one week training and orientation session, followed by placement within a specific product or industry group. You will work on public and private debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory projects. The role includes access to networking opportunities, learning seminars, and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Run valuation analyses.
- Perform complex financial modeling.
- Conduct research and analysis on various industries and companies.
- Create presentations for clients.
- Write marketing memoranda for internal and external use.
- Support team members with client relationships and business development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with a graduation date in December 2027, 2028, or 2029.
- Excellent academic standing.
- Strong analytical skills in business, financial, and credit analysis.
- Ability to work well within a demanding team environment.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Preference is given to students in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, civil engineering, computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
