About the role#
This internship offers undergraduate students a chance to learn the basics of the financial services industry. You will gain hands-on experience through formal training, ongoing coaching, and mentorship. The program spans 10 weeks, from June 2 to August 7, 2027, and requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Complete a training program covering direct-to-consumer finance.
- Participate in weekly study sessions to prepare for and take the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam.
- Build an understanding of client-facing and operational functions.
- Engage with business partners and leaders to explore career paths and networking opportunities.
- Contribute to projects that support business priorities.
- Develop and deliver presentations to peers and leaders to strengthen your professional communication skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student, ideally as a rising senior.
- Academic background in Finance or Business Administration.
- A strong interest in financial markets, investing, client service, or business development.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- A desire to take initiative and contribute in a professional environment.
- Previous experience through leadership roles, campus involvement, or internships is a plus.
